Linda:  I am so grateful to have heard your mother's voice before the Lord called her home. She gave me a gift of past beautiful memories of our families. I am very blessed and humbled that you thought of me. All of you are in my prayers. Now the "two sister angels are together in heaven."

I am sorry for your loss of your mother. She and your dad were always so good to me. I have some great memories of them both. I was so lucky to be with her, when Anthony and the band played for her. My condolences to the entire Barrett family. Marti was a beautiful woman who welcomed me into their home many times in grade school and high school. Her daughter, Linda, and I were friends back then. I was so happy to see the video of her on national television recently. I had the opportunity to see her one last time with a smile on her face.

Aunt Martie was an exceptional person whose kindness, love and happiness brought joy to everyone who knew her.  I especially valued and appreciated the time we spend together when I was a child.  We will all miss her very much and send our love and sympathy to all of you.

I met Martie the night my dad died.  She was the most beautiful, warm, comforting person I ever met.  All the Sandmanns love her and her family.  Tom and I visited Martie and Linda early in hospice and she was in pain but still beautiful and warm.  We love her and will keep her with us always.  Tom and Bethie Broderick

My heart goes out to all of my Aunt Martie's family. We knew this day was coming and prayed that she not suffer anymore. She will always be loved by so many.

We will all miss the way she embraced each of us with her love and acceptance.  As one who truly walked in faith, hope, and charity, she will always stand as a model of a virtuous woman for me.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

"...I believe there are angels among us..." I am sure the angels are guiding her home and no doubt she is most deserving of a grand entrance. To Linda, Michael, Franky, Sonya and all of your children, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you through this miserable and difficult time.
