Marvin Dale Wright, 70, passed away on November 27, 2019 in Bentonville. He was born on January 15, 1949 in Beaver, Oklahoma to the late David E. and Edna L. (Arnold) Wright. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Pruitt) Wright for 46 years. Marvin served in the United States Army from 1969-1975. He was member of the Old Guard at Ft. Myer, Virginia. He worked 28 years for Crane Company and 13 years at Kennametal, both in Rogers.
After retiring in 2014, he was able to spend more time enjoying the things he loved, like spending time with his family and especially playing with his granddaughters and going to their activities. Marvin was also an avid sports fan, but his favorites were football and baseball. He didn’t mind watching the games on TV, but attending the games was always a highlight.
He is survived by his wife of Rogers; daughters, Jennifer Hinterthuer (Scott) and Kimberly Bracht (fiancee Rodney Johns) both of Bentonville; brothers, Larry P. Wright and Linda of Bentonville and Robert A. Wright and Pat of Utah; and four grandchildren, Chloe and Audrey Bracht and Hannah and Abigail Hinterthuer; and his aunt, Evelyn Clark. He is also survived by six nieces, one nephew, and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home. His funeral will be on Tuesday, December 3, at 11 a.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Little Flock Cemetery.
