Linda S. Whitman, 65, of Rogers, died Monday January 26, 2015 at OCH in Gravette, Arkansas. She was born on November 1, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert L. and Virginia E. (Hughes)Wingert.
Linda worked at Wal-Mart home offices and retired after 23 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church in Rogers.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Whitman and Jonathan Whitman of Rogers; her sister, Debbie Wingert of Bella Vista; her brother, Roger Wingert and wife Kathi of Rogers; her nieces, Lauren Wingert-Stefanic and husband Nick of Rogers, and Carrie Crawford of Austin, Texas; and many cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church of Rogers, Thursday January 29, 2015 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linda Whitman Funeral Fund at Arvest Bank in Rogers, or Horses for Healing, www.horsesforhealingnwa.org.
Services are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
