On April 12th, Dennis Robinson, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away at the age of 72. Dennis was born on October 17th, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents William Robinson and Mabel (Townsend) Robinson. Dennis resided in Rogers, Arkansas with his wife Laura.
Dennis was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he volunteered his time to keep the sound and electrical equipment in good operating order. He was a devoted Sunday school teacher and loving friend to all.
Dennis was an electrical genius (there wasn't a thing the man couldn't fix). He designed and built intercom systems, installed electrical equipment in aircraft, repaired complex radio equipment and worked in the industry of maintaining and modifying machinery.
Dennis touched many lives and made lasting relationships through his love of hobbies, Aviation and Ham Radio. Dennis designed and built several aircraft, some of which he flew to the largest aircraft events in the United States where his design and building skills were recognized nationally. He enjoyed communicating with people all over the world through Ham Radio and frequented Ham Radio fests.
Dennis is survived by: wife, Laura; brothers, Darrel (Johna), Harral (Susan), Billy Joe (Joy), and Kenny; sons, Jeff, Brian (Kim), and Andrew (Brandi); daughter, Elizabeth; stepdaughters, Mandy (Justin), and Heather (Ott); stepson, Tyler (Jessica); and loving grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16th at Rollins Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17th at Rollins Funeral Home at 1pm with burial following at Pace Cemetery.
