She was born February 4, 1926 to Harry and Indiana White in Cheriton, Virginia. Oneita was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Burton, Sr; her son, George F. Burton, Jr; and her four siblings.
Oneita is survived by her three children, Andy Burton (Debi), Candy Kuehner (Carl) and Faith Neumann (Jim); and her brother, Gary White, Sr of Orlando. She was loved by her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her grandchildren were her most cherished and were a big piece in her heart.
She loved to sing and before moving to Florida, sang for different events in her hometown of Cape Charles, VA. After she and her husband moved from Cape Charles in 1956, Oneita worked most of her life in the administrative field. She loved the Lord and never hesitated to tell anyone how blessed she was.
A memorial service will be held on June 15, 2024 at Florida Memorial Gardens Life Event Center, 5950 S. US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL. Visitation will be at 10:30 A.M., with the service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Dr. Erick Brookins will be officiating.
Graveside burial will be for family members only.
The family requests that in lieu flowers that a donation be made to Health First Hospice in honor of Oneita Burton.
