Maureen had a heart of gold, which she was able to share with others when becoming a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She had a wonderful 20-year career in-home healthcare, caring for very special children that needed her compassion. Later in life, she found that she had a talent for drawing and painting, and even opened a little store called “Aunties Attic” to help others learn how to paint and she sold antiques. Mom was a collector of all things unique and interesting. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always had advice to go along with any scenario. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure. Maureen always put her loved ones first, her compassionate spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren with the memories that we share. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and the greatest Nana in the world. We will all miss her forever, rest easy mom, we have it from here.
