Matthew Christian Marshall, 19, died Wednesday April 2, 2014. Matthew was born on March 2, 1995 and was a lifelong resident of Melbourne. He was an outgoing person and loved life. He enjoyed surfing, playing guitar, golfing, archery, and gaming. He graduated from Melbourne High in 2013. He was the pitcher on his little league baseball team, and in high school, he was Stroke seat of the rowing crew. He was attending East Florida State College.
Matthew is survived by his mother Kimberly Dycus and his stepfather Dean; his father Doug Marshall and his stepmother Janeen; his brothers Ryan and Nathan; sister Allison; grandparents Connie and Dave Marshall and Barbara Lawrence.
A celebration of Matthew's Life will be held at the Event Center at Florida Memorial on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10a.m. As a tribute to Matthew, the family requests visitors wear casual attire.
