My heart is full of love for my Aunt, and I will always cherish memories of visiting her every summer growing up. Aunt Marilyn always took care to make those visits magical for my sister and I. As an adult I'm impressed by her strength and courage. I think of all the ways she gave of her time and talent to those around her- all the children she taught, all the people she helped through volunteer work, how deeply she loved her family. I miss you Aunt Marilyn, I love you very much.

Cheri, I so wish I could have been there for you and Marilyn over these past few months. I have many special memories of wonderful times over our long 50 year friendship. Among my fondest memories are of being with the "FL girls" at Linda's cabin in Andrews. We had such fun! Marilyn was a great friend who will be truly missed.

Our family has such great memories with you and your mom, Cheri.  As I think back, so many pictures come to mind.  We are so grateful to have spent a few hours with your mom in this final year of her life.  Our prayers are with you and your family.  Much love from the Wongsuwans.

My condolences to Cheri and Marilyn's family.  Before I became employed at Meadowlane, I volunteered in Marilyn's classroom where my son, Matt,  attended TK.  Those memories are even more special now.  We also enjoyed Marilyn's musical talent at Eastminster.  Ms. Reese was a dedicated teacher and a fine human being.  She will be remembered.

Marilyn was such a kind and wonderful mentor to me when I was a new teacher at Meadowlane many years ago.  I will never forget her support and patience with me.  She made such an impact in the lives of her students and co-workers.  I still remember our birthday breakfasts at Fred and Ethel's, back when school started at 9:00.  Cheri, your mom was always so proud of you and all you've accomplished.  My heart goes out to you.

Dear Cheri, my sympathy goes out to you on the passing of your Mother. You will be remembered in my prayers. Your Mother & I had such a fun relationship - we laughed every time we saw each other! I met her in 1970 & at that time my name was Marilyn Reece, & I taught 1st. Grade at Holland Elementary, She taught Kindergarten at Meadowlane! Later I taught Kindergarten & she taught 1st. grade! Such a beautiful person ; a blessing to all those lives she touched.  I will forever miss my special neighbor.  Your earthy presence will be missed, but knowing you are now one of God's special angels gives us some peace.  The love you left behind will be your greatest legacy !

Marilyn was such a courageous woman and fought her illness with grace and dignity.  I was a caregiver a local practice a few years ago and always enjoyed talking with Marilyn.  I have a coaster set she made for each of us at work one Christmas.  She was delightful. Prayers to her family.

You fought a good fight, you finished the course.  Rest in peace, sweet lady.
