Gail Lewis Hill

Gail is survived by her loving husband, Roy. She was a doting mother to sons David of Winter Haven, Fl., Craig(Amanda) of Norfolk, VA and Daniel (Ronda) of Walla Walla, WA. She was a grandmother to Ava, Madeline, Ethan and Abigail. Her parents, Henry Christian Schwemm and Irma Schwemm, predeceased her. Gail was born in Baltimore, MD in 1944, and had lived in Key West, FL; Adak, AK; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Honolulu, HI; Pasadena, MD; and Bowie, MD before retiring to Merritt Island, FL in 1996. She spent the final year of her life at Zon Beachside in Indian Harbour Beach, FL.

Gail attended Eastern High School in Baltimore, MD and later earned an associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College. She was employed as the head of the technical branch of HLA associates in Greenbelt, MD. Post-retirement, she was a member of the Audubon Society, Florida Native Plant society, Multiple Sclerosis support groups, and Indian River Amateur radio club. She also volunteered for Junior Achievement.

A memorial service will be conducted at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, Rockledge, Florida on July 26, 2021 from 12:30-1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Society (mscenter.org) would be greatly appreciated.
