Elizabeth D. Zorn

Mrs. Zorn was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and raised in Rittman, Ohio. She moved with her husband, Edgar J. Zorn (2002), to Indialantic in 1974 from Coral Gables, Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

She graduated from Rittman (Ohio) High School in 1948. She then attended Ohio University and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts in 1952.

After graduation, she moved with her husband, Edgar J. Zorn, to Cleveland, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Coral Gables, Florida, and ultimately to Indialantic and then Suntree, Florida.

Dianne enjoyed quilting and bridge along with the Orlando Magic basketball. She was also an avid animal lover and owned several dogs over her lifetime. She enjoyed traveling and went on multiple Porsche tour trips in Germany with her friend Frank Watkins.

Dianne was married for 50 years to Ed Zorn, and is survived by her children, James E. Zorn and wife, Cherie of Plain City, Ohio, Jane E. Gilfoy and husband, Bruce of Holliston, Mass, and David E. Zorn and wife, Theresa of Cocoa; Grandchildren, Pamela Podolski (James), James E. Zorn, Jr (Jessica), Casey M. Blethen, Taylor Gilfoy, Cameron Gilfoy and Samantha E. Zorn. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. Viewing will be held from 10am until 11am with a service for Dianne at 11am. Interment will follow the service at 12 noon at Florida Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations are requested in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter in memory of E. Dianne Zorn.
