Later, when Bill was transferred to the FAA (near Atlantic City), Connie became a Miss America Pageant Hostess and then returned to college, earning a B.A. in Education from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ, graduating Summa Cum Laude and beginning a teaching Career. They moved to Florida in 1990, residing at Indian River Colony Club in Viera. They became very active in Square Dancing at IRCC and with the Space Trackers Club in Merritt Island. In the early 2000’s, Connie began suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and finally became a patient at Autumn House in 2010.
