Patricia Louise Johnson

Pat was born in Rockford, IL to George and Marjorie (Swanson) Thorson on June 24th, 1948. She graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 1966. She married Ronald Johnson on June 10th, 1967. She worked as a front desk clerk for Swedish American Hospital for 23 years. Pat loved capturing and sharing memories and was always the one to get everyone together for a photograph. She enjoyed reading, swimming, and bowling. She was active in the YMCA AOA Swim Group, and she enjoyed meeting with friends from her childhood, high school, Swedish American Hospital, and others she met along the way for breakfast or lunch. Pat enjoyed gatherings with friends and family the most.

Pat is survived by her family; husband, Ronald Johnson, son, Christopher Johnson, brother Greg (Ann) Thorson, former daughter-in-law, Melissa (John) Sharp, grandchild, Amanda (Grady) Breslich. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marjorie (Swanson) Thorson, and her daughter, Beth Renee Johnson (stillborn)

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at Advantage Funeral Home (7000 West State Street, Rockford, IL 61102). The family of Patricia L.
