Kevin D. Conner, 47, of Rockford passed away Sunday December 15, 2013 at Swedish American Hospital with his family at his side.
Kevin was born in Effingham, IL, on March 6, 1966 the son of Harry and Shirley Myers Conner. He married Sheila Riley on October 7, 2002. Kevin was a heavy equipment truck driver.
Kevin is survived by his wife Sheila; daughter Caitlyn Conner; son Brock Conner (Christine Guadagnoli); father Harry Conner; mother and step-father Shirley and Fred Bresette; granddaughter Arianna Conner; sister Kathy (Steve) Austin; in-laws Bill (Becky) Riley, Bruce (Tonia) Riley and Julie (Randy) Nelson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews; best friends Jerry Eklund, Brian Downing and Jeff Kallenbach.

A service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday December 20, 2013 at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State St. in Rockford. Visitation for Kevin will be Thursday December 19, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and also on Friday one hour before services starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in 12 Mile Grove Cemetery in Pecatonica.
