Joseph "Joe" C. Nivinski

Joseph C. Nivinski, 60, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away suddenly, Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 2024. He was born October 30, 1963, in Rockford, IL, the son of Michael and Sandra (Ostrander) Nivinski. Joe married Cheri Buntjer on June 24, 1994 in Rockford, IL. He was employed at Eklund Metal Treating, RL Leek and Ryder. He enjoyed fishing. Joe was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He liked playing poker with his brother and nephews and bowling.

Joe was loved and missed by his wife of 30 years, Cheri; children, Jimmy (Sascha) Buntjer, Jason (Meg) Buntjer and Josh (Karen) Buntjer; grandchildren, Rhiannon, Mason, Devin, Madison, Marissa, Brianna and Josh, Jr.; father, Michael (Linda) Nivinski; brother, Jim (Jodi) Nivinski; sister, Jean Nivinski; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra and sister Janet.
