Eric Lathrop

Eric Lathrop, 49, of Rockford, IL, passed away, Tuesday evening, November 15, 2022 at Swedish American Hospital. He was born April 13, 1973 in Beloit, WI, the son of Michael and Dory (Tinder) Lathrop. He attended his school years in the Loves Park, Harlem School District. Eric was a roofer by trade, who was very handy and able to fix just about anything. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on cars. Eric loved listening and playing music in his spare time. Eric was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Eric is survived by his wife, Darla; children, Dylan Larkin and Amber Larkin; special granddaughter, Nevaeh; parents, Michael and Dory; siblings, Stephanie (Rich) Tomman and Chad (Crystal) Lathrop; step-children, Jamie (Freddie), Stephanie, EJ and Kara; grandmother, Delia Lathrop; as well as numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his children, Cody Boardman and Alyssa Lathrop; grandsons, Ashton and Landon and step-daughter, Sara.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
