Debra Jean Tate born on June 6th, 1962 to Patricia and Billy Tate, left this earth on Sunday May 19th 2024 to be with her mother in Heaven. She was suddenly ill and every effort was taken to save her by the staff at Javon Bea. The family would also like to thank the staff for their comforting care. She was surrounded by her loving family as she took her last breath.
Deb is predeceased by her mother, Patricia Tate; and her beloved dog, Daisy. She is survived by her father, Billy Tate; her children, Trisha McBride (Matt Hullinger) and Tiffany (Chris) Wehmeyer; her grandchildren, Brendon Hullinger, Trista Strommen, Arianna McBride, Kalista Hicks, Kaiden Wehmeyer, and Mason Hullinger; her great-grandchild, Bentley Hare; and her beloved dog, Jojo.
Deb was loved and known by many as Mom or Granny. She was always a dedicated daughter, mother, grandmother, friend, and spent many years dedicated to her work before retiring. Deb was a loving free spirit that was the life of any party and would help a complete stranger. Some of her passions were loving her grandchildren, being outside on a boat or with her dogs, crafting, and working in her garden and flowers with her family.
Debra worked for UDL for many years in HR. She loved being a part of throwing the company picnics and did a great job with them too. Deb spent her younger days doting on her children by watching them in competitive/traveling sports. After being diagnosed with a small handful of bone/joint diseases Deb retired and became a fulltime grandmother chasing her babies around, which she loved. She was a beautiful human inside and out and was loved by everyone that she crossed paths with.
The family is planning to throw a celebration of life with more information to come. If you’d like details on this event please follow the family on Facebook.
