Carol Ann Marinkovich, 84, of Roscoe, IL, passed away August 25, 2021. She was born on January 23, 1937 in Chicago to Loretta and Thomas Spielman. Carol graduated from Saint Alphonsus Catholic School. She married the love of her life, Michael Marinkovich on August 1, 1959. They shared 4 children together and 62 years in marriage. Carol loved tending to her garden and enjoying the flowers. Traveling to see her grandchildren brought her great delight. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband; Michael, children; Laurie (Darryl) Mueller, Glenn (Wendy) Marinkovich, and Andrew (Devon) Marinkovich, grandchildren; Ryan, Travis, Jonathon, Jacob, Alex, Marissa, Michael, Madison, Ruby and Beatrix, great grandchildren; Dayton and Kayden, sister; Geralyn Peterson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who she loved dearly.
She is predeceased by her son; David Marinkovich, her parents, as well as 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
