David Samuel Dusenberry

His body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, June 18 at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

David was born on September 29, 1964, the son of David L. and Janice (Huston) Dusenberry. He married Nancy Stahler on August 7, 1992. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2003.

David worked in the construction business, working at Suburban Construction for many years, and later going on to co-own Mad Dog’s Construction. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football. He loved spending time with his children. Nothing slowed David down, and he will be remembered by all who knew him as someone who lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include his mother, Janice Dusenberry, Rock Island; children, Kristen Dusenberry, Silvis, Chelsey Dusenberry, East Moline, Ben Dusenberry, East Moline, and Terrence Dusenberry, Iowa City, IA; granddaughter, Makenna; and brothers, Todd Dusenberry, Fort Myers, FL, and Joseph Dusenberry, Kingsland, GA.

Mr. Dusenberry was preceded in death by his father, David L. Dusenberry.
