Timothy Wayne Scott Newhouse Sr.

Timothy Wayne Scott Newhouse, Sr., 55, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2018. He was born August 11, 1962 in Sewickley, son of the late Jackie Wayne Newhouse and Sarah Boyle (Mott) Newhouse. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the action in Grenada and was also stationed at the Panama Canal. For most of his employment years, Tim has been employed in food service management. His hobbies and pastimes included golfing and swimming; and he was an avid Steelers fan.

Tim is survived by his mother: Sally J. Potts, Cranberry Township; one son: Timothy Wayne Scott Newhouse, Jr., Los Angeles, CA; one daughter and son-in-law: Melissa (Jonathan) Ruby, West Mayfield; four grandchildren: Xavior Simpson, Sophia Simpson, Jesse Rush and Jonathan Ruby; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Frederick Thomas “Tom” (Tammy) Olson, New Brighton; John David Wayne (Christine) Newhouse, New Brighton; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Carol Lynn (Carl) White, Blackburn, VA; Carrie (Robert “Yogi”) Costanza, New Sewickley Township; several nieces and nephews along with extended family.

Friends will be received Monday, August 13, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A brief service will be held at 7 p.m. with visitation continuing until 8 p.m.

Interment with Military Honors will be at the Veterans National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, the date yet to be scheduled. On line condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com
