Richard H. Broman, 81, of Baden passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 with his wife by his side at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford. Rich was born on December 2, 1942 in Rochester to the late Ernest “Herman” and Mary Rose (Kronstain) Broman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judith (Tyler) Broman, his sisters, Shirley Kutevac, Susan (Donald) Kuriger, brother, Donald (Debbie) Broman, numerous nieces and nephews, and a longtime friend Pete Peck.
Rich had worked for LTV Steel and Anchor Hocking. Rich had served in the US Army during Vietnam, he was a member of Beaver County Special Unit, Rochester Masonic Lodge # 229, Valley of New Castle, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Syria Shriners, and the American Legion in Freedom.
Rich was preceded in death by his brother James Broman.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074, where a service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:00 Am, with military honors to follow.
Entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation in rich’s name to the Beaver County Special Unit or the Beaver County Humane Society.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful personal aides and Good Samaritan Hospice aides for all of their help in providing excellent care of Rich. It was deeply appreciated, and a special thank you to Rich’s sister, Susan who was there all the time for her brother in his time of need.
