Harold R. McKnight Jr.

Harold R. McKnight Jr., age 91, of Beaver, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Passavant Senior Living in Zelienople. Born May 8, 1933, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Harold R. McKnight Sr. and Ida (Malthaner) McKnight. Ray was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a man that had strong family responsibilities, at the age of 14, he went to work at Hydrol mill to help support his family. He also work at St. Joseph lead for many years, upon its closure, at the age of 49, he went back to school to complete his GED and and Associates degree in Computer Science. Ray then went on to work in Harrisburg, in security. Ray took a lot of pride in his home, he spent over 60 years living in the same house, always putting his time and energy into keeping his house looking nice.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Sara (Snedder) McKnight.

He is survived by three daughters; Cherie Berotti, Rayma McKnight, and Debra Siceloff, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters; Lillian Corbin and Janet Yokoyama.

As per Ray's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
