Gail B. McKnight

Gail was employed for over 2 decades at Babcock and Wilcox as a roller assembler and served as custodian at College Avenue United Methodist Church in Beaver for many years. He also worked as a volunteer chaplain at the Beaver Medical Center in recent years.

Gail was a long-time member of local churches, most recently at River Valley Reformed Church in Monaca, PA. Gail had gifts of generosity and encouragement, among others, and many who interacted with him were blessed by these gifts in abundance!

Survivors include his daughter Gayla (Leroy) Sholey; granddaughters Valerie, Victoria, Veronica, and Leah, grandson Leroy II, brother Raymond; and sisters Lillian and Janet, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gail is also survived by his stepdaughter, Deborah Farneth.

Gail was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years: Joan M. (Pollock) McKnight, his parents, and five of his brothers: Donald, Keith, Richard, Ronald, and Stuart. He also was preceded in death by his stepson, Mark Farneth.

Friends are invited to a service to remember Gail’s life and reflect on the goodness of God to Gail on Tuesday, August 20, at 6:30 PM at River Valley Reformed Church – 999 McClelland Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061.
