Carol Lynn Waggoner, formerly of Baden, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Rochester Manor and Villa at the age of 80 years.
Born in Verona PA, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Edna Kelley, Lynn is survived by her husband; William, with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage, brother Clyde Kelley, an aunt and several cousins and many friends especially her best friend Bonnie Tinney, the Sewing Sophias, Marian Smith and her 'angels'/caretakers Sharon Antoline and Patty Clendennen.
A talented self taught spinner and weaver, Lynn had a keen interest in textiles. As a Docent at Old Economy Village for many years, she delighted visitors both old and young with her skills. Believing these traditions should be promoted, Lynn could be found demonstrating her craft at Historic Harmony, Vicary House and in full costume atop a float in a Thanksgiving Parade.
A quirky, bright lady with an effervescent smile, Lynn faced cancer with acceptance, courage and a sense of humor. Always grateful, she never missed a chance to say thank you or love you.
