He was predeceased by his daughter, Aonica Chamberlain; his mother, Mary Ann McCrary; father-in-law, Royal Chamberlain; and grandfather, Robert McCubbin.
He is survived by his wife, Lea Chamberlain-McCrary; children, Scott Chamberlain and Chelsea Stone; granddaughter, Karliah Chamberlain; sister-in-law, Tina Martin; “brother and sister” Tony and Ann Matela; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
David greatly enjoyed playing darts and was a longtime member of the GVDA. He also loved cars and enjoyed working on them.
David had a generous spirit and was always willing to drop whatever he was doing and help anyone in need. He was also very funny and loved to make people laugh and smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, April 25th, from 4-8PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 26th, at St. Monica Church, 831 Genesee St, Rochester, NY 14611, at the corner of Monica St. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A celebration of David’s life and reception will take place on Friday following the burial at Church Lodge in Churchville Park, 101 N. Main St. Churchville, NY 14428. Attendees are asked to please bring a dish to pass.
