Burton John Reimer

Born November 23, 1940 in Rochester, N.Y. He spent his youth fishing and exploring the banks of the Genesee river. Burt graduated from Charlotte High School in 1959. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy . He was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon returning to Rochester, he became employed at Eastman Kodak. He spent 27 years at Kodak as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. He retired in 1991. Burt enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid gardener, spending endless hours outside. He and his wife Barbara enjoyed traveling the U.S. and taking cruises. In their later years, they would winter in Ft. Myers. Burt is predeceased by his parents Burton and Laura Reimer, sister Sharon Fardette. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara, his son Jay(Nancy) Reimer, his daughter Bethany Bentley(Joseph Pikulinski) grandson Douglas Bentley, granddaughters Alexis Bentley and Ann Pikulinski. "Bud" had an incredible sense of humor that kept everyone he met laughing. He will be deeply missed. As per his wishes, there will be no service held.
