Roger Keith Bennett

Roger is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; children Scott (Vivian) and Chris (Tracy) Bennett; grandchild Andrew Bennett; siblings Fred (Judy) and Tim Bennett; sister-in-law Kathleen and Christine Petras and Janice Nierzwick; nieces Melissa Zabritski (Brian) and Amanda Moon (Chris); nephews Steve, Dave, Buzz and niece Barbara Jo; nephews Alec and Corey Nierzwick; great-nephew Owen and great-nieces Becca, Isabella and Alessandra. Roger was predeceased by his parents Jay and Alice (Hames) Bennett and his brother Jay Bennett.

Roger was born the son of Jay and Alice Bennett in Wheaton, Illinois on February 9, 1940. He graduated from Wheaton High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from North Central College and MBA from Roosevelt University. He married Dorothy Petras on March 1st, 1989 in Aspen Colorado. Roger worked for at various occupations and businesses including as a systems analyst and labor relations specialist for the US Postal Service.

Roger loved books, movies, travel, and watching the Chicago Cubs and talking to Bruce Dinsmor.

Roger’s family will hold a service in Scottsdale Arizona at a later date.
