Michael was born on March 23, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. He was a self-employed electrician and skilled carpenter. Michael was known for his hands-on talents. Beyond his trade, he was a true artist making intricate wire sculptures. His creativity extended to the kitchen, where he loved cooking for family and friends, and to the outdoors, where he enjoyed golfing and scuba diving. Michael had a deep love for travel and explored the world. His journeys brought him countless stories and unforgettable memories.
Michael is survived by his loving children, Jonathan (Colette) Rener and Christine (Tom) Pesha, and step son, Matthew (Erica) Serafin. He was a proud grandfather to Ross Pesha and Max Pesha, and doting great grandfather to Penny Pesha.
Michael is preceded in death by his former wife, Jeanne Rener.
