Martha H. Angersbach, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away Wednesday December 6th, 2023 at the age of 90.
Martha was born the daughter of Nels and Ellen (Eklund) Johnson in Jamestown, New York on January 9, 1933. She graduated from High School in Jamestown, class of 51. Martha became a registered nurse after training at Augustana College School of Nursing in Rock Island, Illinois. She married George Angersbach on October 17, 1959 in Hollywood, California. Martha was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Shelby Township.
Martha loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her church community.
Martha is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Angersbach; children Peter Angersbach, Kurt (Deborah) Angersbach, Tim Angersbach, and Steven (Shannon) Angersbach; grandchildren Samantha and Colin Angersbach; sister Allyce Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by her parents; brothers Phillip and John Johnson; and her sister Mary Ellen Johnson.
