She was born in Detroit on October 6, 1940, to Mildred (nee Higgins) and Edward McCamley and graduated from St. Benedict High School in Highland Park. Her marriage to Dan in 1998 gave her a large bonus family including Daniel (Denise) Callahan, Cathy (Tony) Calderoni, Rita (Dave) Messer, Donna Anderson, the late James Callahan, and many, many bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by an infant daughter, Susan, and her sister-in-law, Patricia McCamley.
A special thank you to Denise Callahan and Valerie Haines for the wonderful care provided to Carol during her final years.
Remembrance for Carol will be private and the family asks that you remember her as she would want it -- with a toast, a happy memory, or in your own special way.
