He was born in Pontiac, MI on June 07, 1996.
Brandon graduated from Troy High School in 2014 and attended both Eastern Michigan University and Oakland University, initially pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and subsequently in IT systems. During the summers he frequently spent time as a camp counselor for Brookside Academy working with children.
Brandon was engaged to Anna Balas, his high school sweetheart; they were together for over eleven years.
Brandon began his career in Information Technology working as a Computer Technician, continuing as a Systems Analyst for the Troy School District, where he enjoyed helping both teachers and students with computer related matters.
He had a passion for computers and computer gaming, and loved the various groups he was part of with friends.
Brandon enjoyed cooking, camping, traveling up north, and other outdoor activities. He loved animals, especially his dog and two cats. Brandon was also a music enthusiast, stemming from his time as a percussionist with the Troy Colt Bands.
He is survived by his parents Steven and Denice, siblings Douglas and Lament, fiancée Anna, grandparents, cousins, extended family and many friends – who all love him very much.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3rd from 4-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307. A celebration of life service will take place on Friday, August 4th at 11am at Big Beaver United Methodist Church, 3753 John R Rd., Troy, MI 48083.
In lieu of flowers, Brandon’s family is asking for donations to be made to the American Red Cross including blood or platelets.
