Jose Gomez

Jose “Joe” Gomez peacefully departed this world, to join his Heavenly Father on August 30, 2024- at the age of 73 years old. He is reunited with his parents, Ramiro Gomez Sr. and Marcelina M. Gomez; his twin, Ramiro Gomez Jr.; grandson, Jose Vicente Gomez Jr (JV); sister, Terry Reyes and is common law wife, Julia Rubio.

Those left to cherish his memories are children, Melissa Gomez Alaniz (Alfred “Freddy” Alaniz), Jose Vicente Gomez (Christina C Gomez), Joe Gomez Jr., and Renee Gomez (Marc Garia); grandchildren, Catharena L. Mireles, Joshua Gomez, Jenasys Gomez, Maria Alicia Avila, Carlos Jesse Hernandez Jr., Scarlett Annette Hernandez, Tristan Jae Garcia and Starlynn Rose Garcia; great grandchildren, Kamdyn Grey Rubio, and Ilaia Everly Gomez; siblings, Larry (Elva) Gomez, Fernando (Norma) Gomez, Eddie Gomez, Leandra (Mike) Baggio, Jesusa (Clarence) Harris, Lucia Garza along with nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends whom he loved very much.

Joe was born on March 5,1951 in Robstown, Texas. Joe was blessed to enjoy his occupation and was an electrician for his entire life, retiring from the profession. He has many hobbies, but his favorite pastimes included, BBQs, reading and watching a good game. Joe leaves many cherished memories in the lives he touched. Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Park have been entrusted with his care.
