James R Hess

Jim Hess passed away November 12, 2021. Jim was born in Pendleton, Oregon on December 1, 1938, to Henry Reed Hess and Josephine Hess. He later married the love of his life, Connie Baird on February 8, 1962.

Jim enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard in 1957 and served 4 years. He joined the Utah Highway Patrol and proudly served 20 years and retired as a Sgt in 1990.

In 1991 Jim formed his company, Vehicle Lighting Solutions, to continue his support for the emergency responders.

He is survived by his lifetime partner Connie, daughter Karen (Todd) Allred, two granddaughters: Ashlee (Travis) Schmitt, Kyrsti (Kade) Johnson and five great granddaughters who he loved and cherished.
