Errol Kent Jackson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, Errol Kent Jackson, on October 30, 2023. He was a man of great faith, a pillar of strength, and a loving family man. He touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Errol Kent Jackson was born on September 10, 1946, to Ephraim and Ludia Jackson and sealed for time and all eternity to Cecile Jackson on June 21, 1974. From the very beginning, he exemplified a deep commitment to his faith, which guided his every action throughout his life. He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived his life in accordance with its teachings, setting an inspiring example for all those around him.

As a father and husband, Errol Kent Jackson was unwavering in his love and support for his children and grandchildren. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle guidance were the cornerstones of our family, and he created a loving and nurturing environment that allowed us to flourish. He was a source of strength and a constant source of inspiration, and his dedication to his family was unwavering.

Errol Kent Jackson is survived by his loving children: Colin Jackson (Bukola Jackson) and Emily Tucker (Michael Tucker), and Grandchildren: Jackson Tucker, James Tucker, Kai Jackson, Remi Jackson, who will carry forward his legacy of love, and family values. He also leaves behind a community of friends and relatives touched by his kindness and compassion.

The loss of Errol Kent Jackson leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but we find solace in knowing that he is now at peace in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. We will honor his memory by continuing to live our lives in accordance with the values he held dear, and we will carry his love with us always.

An evening viewing for Errol will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. His funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Valley View Funeral Home. A viewing prior to services will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. Mr. Jackson will be laid to rest in Valley View Memorial Park.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. Your love and kindness have provided us with strength, and we appreciate your presence in our lives.

As we bid farewell to our beloved father, we remember the wisdom he shared, the love he gave, and the faith that sustained him. Errol Kent Jackson will forever be remembered as a devoted father and a man of unwavering faith.
