Susan Karen Wright was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Franklin Brown Sr. and Keiko Brown on November 21, 1959. She spent her early years traveling the world with her brothers, Frank Brown Jr., Michael Brown and her sister, Ruth whilst her father served in the United States Air Force before settling with her family in Moreno Valley, CA.
Susan welcomed her first child, a son, Antwan Brown in 1979 and then her daughter, Elyse Wright in 1984. She spent more years traveling with her family to Japan, Maryland and Texas while caring for her two children before settling back in Moreno Valley, California. It was there when Susan spent over two decades working at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Loma Linda before retiring.
During this time, Susan welcomed three granddaughters and two grandsons, whom she adored dearly. Susan was a devout Christian and loved spending her free time with family and friends.
A celebration of life for Susan will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, followed by a reception from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
