Millie and Tom moved by car from Cleveland, Ohio to Southern California in 1951 and eventually settled in Riverside in 1960. They owned 2 wholesale bakery businesses; the first was Mrs. Redd’s Pie Co. and second was Telco Food Products, Inc. Although Millie spent the majority of her time devoted to her 6 children and home she was a huge support for the family business endeavors. After her last child graduated from high school, she took on a career at Telco Food Products working in Accounts Payable until she was 79. She did the work because she loved the challenge… and the pies. She also loved her yard and was a beautiful seamstress. She was an avid fan of sports, mainly football (especially University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish), but also enjoyed basketball, baseball and the Olympics. Millie and her 3 daughters traveled to Italy in 1995, gifted by her husband and sons, and had the time of her life! She had a wonderful sense of humor and could laugh till it hurt. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted member of St. Catherine’s of Alexandria Catholic Church in Riverside for 61 years; her faith was that strong. Millie was humble, a pillar of strength and love, and was cherished by all who knew her.
