Everybody had something that makes the family special with their personality, humor, dreams. When we were all together, that is when I felt happiest. Things are different now but I will forever love and miss Melissa.

I miss that she was able to connect with people and animals very quickly. She would go out of her ways to help people out even if she just met them. 

Photo was Easter a few years ago when an egg with confetti was broken on top of her head.

This was the first time we went hiking and she was so proud she was able to do it without a break.

Melissa was one of the most loving and genuine people I had the pleasure to meet, she was always there when I needed her and always made sure everybody felt loved and appreciated. 
Thank you so much cousin for everything you did for us, I love you and will miss you forever.

We had such a fun time exploring Catalina island. It was Melissa’s first time over there. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day.

Melissa loved animals. She had a few dogs and cats in her life. I remember she asked me to help her shower her cat, Minne, and although it was a little difficult, Melissa had the patience of the world.

We struggled so much growing up as kids but we made the best of it. Thanks to my mother, we were able to have a beautiful life full of love, care and happiness.

Melissa always stated she didn’t feel conferable with people because of judgment. But the she didn’t mind having a race in the Main Place Mall driving these animal cycles. Melissa loved friendly competition and definitely  loved to win.

We were all three different ages but we just pretended as if we were all kids the same age and it was some of the best times of my life.

Went to school. Went to work. Got home and spent time with my siblings. It was a lovely hike in the trail next to our back yard. Family dinner followed by a random family bible study like when we were kids.  I thought to myself that this is was made life special, a regular good day at work followed by special moments with family. It was the best day of my life.

Our thoughts are prayers are with the family of our beloved Melissa Vega. She was a beautiful woman who will always be remembered as a true inspiration for us and our family.

Your friendship meant so much. I knew I could always rely on you when I needed a shoulder to cry on. My door was always open to you when you also needed a friend. I want to thank you for the times we had, the laughs, the food and your kind gestures. Losing you has left a huge hole in my heart. I will make sure I take care of my pets the way you told me to, hug my kids the way you did ( I’m gonna miss those warm hugs) and embrace life the way you encouraged me to do. Rest Millie Vanille and watch those Disney movies in the sky.  I love you
