LUCY AGUILAR GARCIA, age 87, passed away on April 2, 2014 from cardiac arrest at Kaiser Hospital, Riverside, CA. She was born on May 18, 1926 and had lived in Riverside, CA for 29 years, previously in Corona, CA for 58 years. She worked for the navel hospital in Norco, CA for 20 years. Lucy is survived by her sister Christina Holland of Carson City, Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Andres Garcia of Riverside, CA; parents Casamido and Juanita Aguilar; brother David Aguilar and sisters Petra Jaimez and Nellie Phelps, all of Corona, CA. Lucy and her husband Andres may not have had children, but they were mother and father to many of their nephews and nieces who are very much grateful for this and she will truly be missed. A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:00am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial, Riverside, CA with burial at 1:31pm at Riverside National Cemetery.
