Mr. Kenneth James Schultz

Ken (Kenny) Schultz, 61 years young of Phelan, CA, passed away on July 8, 2014, in Apple Valley, CA of cardiac arrest and long battle of complications from an industrial accident 20 years prior. Ken was born January 22, 1953 in Geneva, Ohio to Robert and Lillian Schultz. Ken was a loving husband, step-father and grandfather. Ken was preceded by his wife Josephine and parents. Ken is survived by; daughter Tanya Patino and her wife Carlie of Jurupa Valley; son Todd Patino and his wife Tonia of Sierra Madre; Sister Carol Steele and husband Mike of Highland; Brother Bob Schultz and wife Betty Lou of Davis; six grandchildren Nick and his wife Jennie, Zach, Diego, Jacqlynn, Taylor and Hailey; Two nieces Heather and Kerrie; Three nephews Chris, Kevin, Sean; Two great nieces Morgan and Maeve; One great nephew Orion; Great grandson Christopher; and many friends whom he considered as his family. Ken loved to race and build cars, draw, and make various wood projects for family and friends. Ken was a lifetime member of SCCA, Cal Club Region workers and other various racing teams and clubs. Ken’s service will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92504, 951-688-1221, Saturday, July 19th at 10am. Reception will follow at the same location.
