He was born in Jerome, AZ on October 26, 1928.
Jose completed 3rd grade, but due to his father being killed when he was young, he began to work to help support his mother and family in Mexico.
Jose was married to Mary Louise Espinoza on August 2, 1952; who preceded him in death on January 25, 2015.
He worked as a Cement Mason for over 40 years.
He had a passion for family, birds, horses, Westerns, and colorful tropical landscaping.
Jose is survived by his Children:
Mario Carmona of Henderson, NV, Maricela Duarte of Norco, CA and Marina Griffin of Plano, TX.
Grandchildren: Joseph Carmona, Hana Carmona-Martinez, Ben Duarte, Tricia Russell, Mark Duarte and Nicole Griffin
Great Grandchildren: Kea Duarte, Kelly Duarte, Karissa Duarte, Kaden Duarte, Kyler Duarte, Dylan Russell, Emma Russell, Lacey Duarte and Lexi Duarte
As well as his youngest and dearest sister, Lupe Rios of Anaheim, CA.
