Remembering a wonderful young man today on his birthday.

You were taken too soon, but the memories that I have of you, I will carry with me always. They are so very precious to me now and I revisit them during times when I miss you the most, etching them into my mind, telling them to my children. You may be gone now, but you are never forgotten. I love you so very much. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Jay when he moved in with his mom. He had a great sense of humor, and I enjoyed talking with him. Jay and Pam had a very special relationship, one of love and care. He will be missed.

Jay and my son Jason were best friends growing up together in high school. My Jason passed away two years ago tomorrow. We miss him dearly. I knew how close Jay and Jason were so I always made a point to spend time with Jay when I would come by the office and  had the opportunity to have lunch with him About a year or so ago at Jay and Jason’s favorite restaurant. I took Gavin with me Jason son so that he could see where Jay and Jason used to go eat all the time. I hope these two guys are together in heaven and having a blast. I look forward to seeing them again someday. Take care of them Jesus and give them a hug and tell them that we missed them but we will see them when we get there.

So many  memories of sweet Jay growing up with my children. He and my son  we’re good buddies as little boys. They loved sliding down the stairs on cardboard, playing with teenage mutant ninja turtles, going to Disneyland and many more. Jay was a very kind, generous, loving soul. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Hugs and prayers to his Mom, Pam who Jay cherished.
 RIP , you will always be in our hearts.
