Jack Emerson Jacobs, 93, of Sun City passed away on September 18, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Jewel, 2 brothers, Chuck and Harold, 1 daughter Kay Lynn, 2 sons Chuck and Randy, 11 grandkids, and 14 great-grandkids. He is preceded in death by his brother Ray and 3 children Sharon, John Paul, and Guy Edward.
Born in Barberton, Ohio, Jack’s family moved to Litchfield, Arizona where he attended and graduated from Litchfield High School as a 3 sport athlete.
Jack served in the US Navy from 1943-1946 where he worked on military blimps in Southern Florida. After World War 2, he worked for Goodyear, retiring after 45 years of service. Although retired, he worked another 14 years in the local grocery store, bagging groceries for customers. He moved to Sun City, CA in 2005 when he married Jewel.
Jack was a faithful family man who loved and prayed for his family, the military, and the president daily. Ever a Bible reader, his favorite passage was Psalm 91, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
