Irene Gonzalez, age 75 passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Born on October 13, 1946, Irene grew up in Riverside, CA.

She attended Ramona High School and Riverside Community College where she earned her Cosmetology license. She worked as a beautician before becoming a full -time mother. Irene enjoyed cooking, camping with her family, and loved watching sports.

She will be remembered for her love of her family and friends.

Irene is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph, her children Michael and Annette, her brother Bobby Escalera, and her many nieces and nephews.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents Modesto and Christina Escalera.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 starting at 5 pm, followed by a Rosary at 6pm.

The following day, Thursday, October 27, 2022, the Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at the Riverside National Cemetery.

A celebration of Irene’s life will follow the burial at the Gonzalez home in Riverside.

Viewing - Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - 5:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
