FELIX "ED" A. DIYORIO Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather October 23, 1929 ~ January 14, 2011 81, of Riverside, California, entered into eternal life on January 14, 2011, with his family by his side. He was born and raised in North Hollywood, California. Ed faithfully served in the United States Military for over 20 years before retiring in 1967. He entered military service on March 24, 1947, when he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the U.S. Air Force on March 31, 1967. After his military service, Ed worked for Addressograph and Fairchild Graphic Equipment. He liked to play pinochle with his siblings; was active in a senior bowling league; and spent many hours on his Ham radio talking with people from all over the world. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary, and his children Bob (Cathy), Elayne (Bill Murray), Lorraine (Victor Poisson), Bill (Lisa), John (Catherine), Pat, and Cathrine (Tim Wright); 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. His eldest son, Ed Diyorio, preceded him in death. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 24, 2011, at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 11:15 am at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Staging Area 2, Riverside, CA.
