My name is Jacob Rose and I went to Esperanza high-school with Casey. I got into alot of trouble at school because people gave me a hard time for being an Oregonian kid with no friends, no popularity, no money, or family around. Casey, Serena and a few of their friends all welcomed me into their group and showed me the ropes of Cali life. Casey always had my back. There was even a time some guys tried to fight us and he held his ground and fought side by side with me. Some of the best memories with Casey were at Esperanza burger laughing and cracking jokes until they kicked us out. We used to go there all the time after school and sometimes skip class and go chill there. I also remember sneaking out to the pool with everyone and he always had his sunglasses on even in the pool. He was always a loyal friend and was truly an important person in my life that helped me get through some hard times being alone in California. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to the family and I pray that you all find peace and healing. God bless.

Until we meet again, know that you are loved beyond measure, and missed every single day. I’m immensely grateful for the 36 years I was gifted to be with you and all the happy wonderful memories.

You beautiful boy!  Your happy spirit lit up the room - from the moment you were born. You gave so much love no matter what the circumstances. Your love was felt with your hugs. Thank you for being the first to make me an auntie, your Tia. I’ll forever cherish taking care of you as a baby, the fun you brought to our lives, and how much joy you brought us. You beautiful boy you.  You will be missed beyond measure. Our days will not be the same without you. Love you always.
