Nancy Corns Meredith, 62, of 56 Crescent Ct, Bassett, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Martinsville on June 28, 1949 to the late Laura Corns. She was an instructor for the Bassett Computer Learning Center for more than ten years.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one brother, Guy Corns.
Surviving are her husband, William Lee “Bill” Meredith of the home, one daughter, Angela Lee Meredith of Bassett, one sister, Helen Walker of Martinsville, two brothers, Eugene Corns of Martinsville and Wayne Corns of Salisbury, NC and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the chapel of Community Funeral Services with Mike Price officiating, interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
