Robert Scott Matthews

Robert was born in Clarksdale, MS on June 23, 1944 to Robert Howard and Margaret Foster Matthews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Howard Matthews and Margaret Foster Matthews; brothers, Arnold Monroe Matthews and Larry Glenn Matthews; and step-daughter, Shelia Marie Guidara. Robert is survived by his wife, Bessie Matthews; daughter, Dawn Matthews-Broach; step-daughter, Lisa Dillon; step-son, Joe Asbel; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Robert Matthews will be held at Carr Methodist Church in Lake, MS on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, with a funeral service to follow. Graveside service will take place at Carr Methodist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
