Mildred W. Curry, 90, died January 12, 2015 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab. Visitation is 1:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, with a service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Curry was born on July 30, 1924 to Merle D. Whitt and Preston Whitt in Okolona, Mississippi. She was retired from the Miss. State Tax Commission, where she worked for over 40 years. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Putnam of Picayune, MS; three grandchildren, Michelle Wilson, of Long Beach, MS, Lisa Lods of Poplarville, MS, and Aimee Crowley of Fairhope, AL; and six great-grandchildren, Colton, Ethan, Ali, Kyler, Samantha, and Sarah.
Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Jack D. Curry.
