Lillian C. Stringer, 82, died early Friday morning at Hospice Ministries. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 25, 2015, from the chapel of Parkway Funeral Home, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 am till 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, MS.
Mrs. Stringer was a native of Eatonville and had lived in Jackson for 70 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Stringer Wilkins of Brandon, MS and Mrs. Annie Stringer Lowery of Hattiesburg, MS.; one brother, Gerald Carter of Gulf Shores, AL.; three Grandchildren, Christy Rowell, Paxton Lowery, and Randi Jones; and two great grandchildren, Samuel Rowell, and Landni Jones.
