Margie Ophelia Cagle/Robinson

Margie Ophelia Cagle/Robinson, 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2013 around noontime. Ms. Robinson had been living with her daughter Gloria Jean Hanna of Madison, MS the past four years, until recently. She passed away during recovery at a rehabilitation facility near Franklin County.

Visitation services for Ms. Robinson will be on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson, 1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Visitation time will be from 11:30 to 12:30 and services following at 1:00pm include light food, beverages and brief social time.

Margie Ophelia Cagle/Robinson was born October 12, 1926 in Utica, MS to John Oscar Cagle and Jennie Ophelia Stubbs/Cagle. Ms. Robinson had a great compassion for people and a great love of life, family, friends, acquaintances and community. She was the last of her eight siblings to return home for reunion with our beloved Lord. Mother was a stranger to none, she will be greatly missed by all.

Ms. Robinson (married in May 1945 to late James W. Robinson Sr.) is survived by her daughter, Gloria Jean (late Ron) Hanna, her son, James William (Pam) Robinson, Jr., grandchildren, Michelle Brooke (Danny) Lawson, Gabriel Lamar (Sarah) Griffin, five great grandchildren, Michael James Lawson, Meadow Maci Lawson, Dakota Rae Griffin, Joshua Zacchacus Griffin, and Gabrielle La'mour Griffin, including numerous nieces and nephews
