Judy was born in Meridian, Mississippi on January 9, 1947 to Sarah Alice Sikes Gough and Harold Lanier Gough. She attended Meridian High School, where she graduated in 1965.
Judy worked at Bellsouth for 41 and a half years. Working her way up from phone operator to Facility Planning Engineer. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling and shopping.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Hardin (Ben) Smith and Kristy Hardin (Rob) Marsman; step-sons Bruce (Sunny) Stewart and Jason (Yiru) Stewart; brothers, Mickey (Jackie) Gough and Robin (Debbie) Gough; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Gough and Brenda (Chuck) Peel; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Tangie) Stewart; grandchildren, Justin (Ashton) Smith, Kolten Stevens, Jessica (Derek) Jones, Erica (Joe) Lazarus, Liam Stewart, Mari Stewart and Rebecca Stewart; great-grandchildren, Stella Blake Smith, Asher Jones, Aspen Jones and Keaton Lazarus; beloved pets, Charley and Heidi; aunt, Eloise Ellis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.
Judy is predeceased by her husband, William “Willie” James Stewart, Jr.; parents, Sarah Alice Sikes Gough and Harold Lanier Gough; brother, Harold “Bubba” Lanier Gough, Jr.; and step-son, William Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2023 11:30 am. Visitation for
Judy will be held at Parkway Funeral Home prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. A graveside service will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
